Playing the Sport of Kings in the Horse Capitol of the World
Since its inception in 1977, the Lexington Polo Club has maintained its reputation as a premier destination for players and horses alike.
The Lexington Polo Club hosted the U.S. Open Polo Championship at the Kentucky Horse Park in 1988, 1989, 1990 and 1991 and has a long history of maintaining some of the best Bermuda polo fields in the country.
The Lexington Polo Club is based at the world famous Kentucky Horse Park, one of the most prestigious and scenic equine facilities in the world. Boasting a million visitors a year, the Kentucky Horse Park is the world’s only park dedicated to man’s relationship with the horse.
We invite you to come and watch the Sport of Kings played in the horse Capitol of the World. Weather permitting, public matches are held between May and October every Wednesday and Friday at 5pm & Sunday at 3pm. Polo season hosts tournaments, coaching chukkers, weekly practices and polo lessons.
